Role Summary/Purpose: As part of the GE Lighting Information team, the candidate will be performing business process development of engagements that span multiple areas including data management, data warehousing and reporting/analytics domains. Candidate will be expected develop an integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business objectives being core member of SAP Business Intelligence team for GE Lighting ERP/SAP program implementation
Essential Responsibilities:
: Responsible for defining the flow of data for GE Lighting IT systems
: Identify and define the legacy source systems of records, intermediate staging and consuming applications, and downstream reporting and analytical systems (e.g. legacy data marts)
: Develop the enterprise canonical data model that includes relationships between key subject areas and data elements transparent to application specific details and definitions
: Work collaboratively with technical resources to create a logical database designs and the resulting physical data models that support project specific requirements
: Responsible for participating in the delivery of numerous key business objectives, including ease of information access, regulatory and enterprise reporting and capital reserve calculations, and the integration of data to other technologies and systems
: Lead overall data integrity responsibilities ensuring that information that is integrated physically or virtually is at the highest level of data integrity throughout the systems of integration with Business Intelligence platforms
: Define and implement data strategy, policies, controls and programs to ensure that the enterprise data is accurate,complete, secure and reliable
: Identify areas for data quality improvement and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
: Scoping, prioritization, planning and execution ofthe Organization's Business Intelligence strategic roadmap
: Engaging and collaborating with senior leaders and peers in evolving Master data management within the organization's applications and processes
: Engaging with relevant internal GE parties and external vendors in best practice sharingand effective solution delivery
: Managing a vendor team of experienced data management professionals responsible for the planning and execution of multiple data related initiatives in the realms of data governance, master data management, data retention, data quality and data migrations and Business Intelligence
