Manager/Sr Manager - Transportation In this role you will be responsible for setting up the delivery infrastructure and managing the delivery operations within a state or group of cities.Candidate will be required to lead large operations teams. He/she will be the primary touch point between the field teams and the senior management. The job role demands high level of people management and analytical skills. The primary responsibilities include Building the delivery infrastructure within the designated state or group of cities Hiring the team of field managers and delivery associates and Training them on their KRAs Commissioning the sites and running the day-to-day operations. Ensure enough bandwidth in citywide delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management Conduct the performance appraisals of the station supervisors and mentor them for handling efficient operations Analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performance Defining the transportation process from Fulfillment Center to delivery stations Defining the delivery process from delivery station to customer address Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
